The 49th Winter Fancy Food Show was successfully held from 19 to 21 January in the West Exhibit Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. The Specialty Food Association (SFA), a pioneer in the trade show industry, announced that the show will be renamed Winter FancyFaire* starting in 2026, bringing a new experience and positioning to the show. The show attracted 1,100 exhibitors from around the world, including 180 first-time exhibitors. During the show, 12,000 food industry professionals gathered to explore the latest trends in the food and beverage industry.
A number of new areas and activities were added to the show, including the Spark Showcase, Ask the Experts sessions, First Time Tasters, and the Food & Beverage Showcase, which featured the latest trends in the food and beverage industry. The show focused on sustainable packaging, popular flavours such as yuzu and black truffle, and innovative trends in the food industry. The show will move from Las Vegas to the San Diego Convention Centre and plans to change host cities each year, moving to San Francisco in 2027.
The 2026 show will have an increased focus on the holiday spirit, particularly in the areas of festive gifts and winter sourcing inspiration, providing a more targeted experience for exhibitors and visitors.
Leana Salamah, SFA senior vice president, said that while it's unclear which 2025 features will return in 2026, it's safe to assume that the 2026 show will deliver a new experience and attract a whole new audience segment.
