The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) successfully hosted the 81st International Builders' Show (IBS) from 25-27 February at the Las Vegas International Convention Center (LVCC). The show attracted more than 81,000 builders, renovators, developers and other construction industry professionals, making it the largest in 17 years.
The show attracted more than 1,800 exhibitors, including 750 new exhibitors, and featured 728,000 square feet of exhibit space. These exhibitors showcased the latest building products and technologies across a wide range of sectors including smart home technologies, sustainable building materials and innovative construction methods.
New to this year's event was the ‘Game Changer’ series of dialogues, which featured industry CEOs and cross-disciplinary experts discussing innovation and business strategies. The show also debuted the Custom Building & Renovation Seminar, which provided attendees with in-depth learning and networking opportunities. More than 120 educational sessions were held during the show, covering a wide range of hot topics such as artificial intelligence, building technology and market trends.
As an integral part of the show, Design & Construction Week (DCW) was held in conjunction with IBS, attracting more than 124,000 attendees and nearly 2,500 exhibitors.DCW included the National Kitchen & Bath Association's (NKBA's) Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS), which showcased the kitchen and bathroom sector's of the latest products and technologies in kitchens and bathrooms.
The New American Home™: showcased the latest in building technology and high-performance design, attracting a wide range of professionals, while 10 startups showcased their innovative products and technologies, with the audience voting for the ‘Most Innovative Startup’. A number of social events were organised during the show, providing a wide range of networking opportunities for participants.
NAHB has announced that the 2026 edition of the International Builders' Show will take place from 17-19 February at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. The show will continue to be held in conjunction with Design & Construction Week (DCW) and the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS), providing a comprehensive networking and learning platform for construction industry professionals.
The show not only showcases the latest trends and innovations in the construction industry, but also provides attendees with a wealth of learning and networking opportunities, further cementing its position as a key event for the global construction industry.
