The Shanghai International Travel Expo (TPS 2025) is being held across four major exhibition centers in Shanghai, China, and is expected to attract at least 450,000 visitors from over 140 countries and regions worldwide.
According to reports, the event is co-organized by the Shanghai Municipal Administration of Culture and Tourism, Shanghai UBM Sinoexpo International Exhibition Co., Ltd., and Shanghai International Convention & Exhibition Co., Ltd., with the China Tourism Association also participating as a co-organizer.
TPS 2025 will take place from March 30 to April 3, aiming to showcase innovative achievements in the global tourism industry. This year's expo features five major exhibition clusters across Shanghai’s four major exhibition centers, with a total exhibition area of 700,000 square meters. The event spans 15 industry categories and 68 exhibition zones, hosting over 6,000 exhibitors. Additionally, it will include eight lifestyle festivals, 22 international and domestic competitions, and more than 300 conferences and on-site activities.
The organizers stated that TPS 2025 will debut thousands of new products globally, promoting quality and innovation in Shanghai's tourism sector.
Leveraging four exhibition centers in both Pudong and Puxi, TPS 2025 is committed to fostering the integrated development of specific industries and tourism. The expo includes:
HOTELEX Shanghai, focusing on hotels, food and beverage, coffee and tea, and franchise industries;
Tourism Plus Shanghai 2025, China (Shanghai) International Boat Show, and The Lifestyle Show Shanghai 2025, dedicated to tourism wellness, yacht industry, and outdoor leisure sectors;
Hotel & Shop Plus – Shanghai International Hotel, Store, Office, and Public Space Expo, highlighting architectural decoration and commercial design;
The newly added World Expo of Modern Concepts, exploring the art and visual display industries.
Additionally, immersive exhibitions themed around the metaverse and sports, gourmet food and wine, and balloon art will be held. Other discussion topics include science and technology empowerment, with a focus on robotics.
